11/16/11 – Joe Brumfield: Jesus’ interactions with the woman at the well, and the woman anointing his feet give us several guidelines for being salt and light to people who are hurting and trapped. Some of us fall into the trap of immoral living, while others of us fall into the trap of affluence or selfishness. Personal confession and humility are good starts for showing God’s love as we begin the rescue. We all have the job of rescuing each other.
